The African American Arts Alliance of Chicago and Black Ensemble Theater present the 10th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 6:00pm. The jubilant, online event is free will be available live at aaaachicago.org and www.blackensemble.org.

UIC King Week Events
UIC will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with service and virtual events scheduled for Jan. 18-22.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Week 2021 will celebrate his life and legacy with a variety of events for the community, students and employees. “A Critical Conversation with Dr. Ibram X. Kendi” will be held virtually from 4-5:15 p.m. Jan 20. The keynote speaker, Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, is a three-time No. 1 New York Times bestselling author and the Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the Humanities at Boston University, as well as the founding director of the BU Center for Antiracist Research. RSVP for the event.
